02/9Drive to the hospital and extra checking

Talking about the time when Nirali’s water bag broke at night, Ruslaan said, “Even at 9.30 pm, there was not one car or person on the streets. It felt like a movie, and was quite freaky. 03/9Allowed to be with his wife during labour

Ruslaan shared, “I was with Nirali in the labour room.” The feeling of seeing his baby, Rayaan, for the first time was exhilarating for the actor. Ruslaan also joked his parents had said that babies look like mice when they come out. 05/9When they were advised to leave the hospital in a day

Due to the Covid-19 lockdown, Ruslaan and Nirali were advised to leave the hospital unexpectedly on March 27. He shared with us, “We were supposed to stay at the hospital for two more nights, but the authorities first asked us to change Nirali’s room to a different floor. An hour later, the doctor informed us that the hospital had opened up for Covid-19 patients and suggested us to leave. We had to leave in one day. They said the baby and the mother are healthy and it would be safer for them to be at home. We had thought we’d be there for a little longer to learn how to manage the baby. (Photo: Instagram)

06/9On doing away with a nanny due to coronavirus scare

Ruslaan told us they had booked a nanny to take care of their child but due to the lockdown they were advised against it. He said, “The doctors suggested us not to let anyone touch our baby unless they have been in our house for more than 15 days. 07/9Sad about family and friends not getting to meet his newborn

Ruslaan rued, “It’s a sad thing that none of our friends and families would be able to see the baby.” Hence, the actor decided to post Rayaan’s pictures immediately on social media as opposed to how he had planned, “I had thought I won’t put up my newborn’s pictures for a long time.
