Chelsea have spent much of the transfer ban signing the club’s best and most promising youth players to new contracts, including the likes of Ruben Loftus-Cheek, Callum Hudson-Odoi, Mason Mount, Reece James, Billy Gilmour, Conor Gallagher, Fikayo Tomori, Armando Broja, Ian Maatsen, and so on and so forth, but there are still a couple signatures…

Chelsea have spent much of the transfer ban signing the club’s best and most promising youth players to new contracts, including the likes of Ruben Loftus-Cheek, Callum Hudson-Odoi, Mason Mount, Reece James, Billy Gilmour, Conor Gallagher, Fikayo Tomori, Armando Broja, Ian Maatsen, and so on and so forth, but there are still a couple signatures left to secure and soon.

Tino Anjorin and Tammy Abraham are the two highest priority talks at the moment, and they both have been dragging on for some time. And while there is no progress to speak of for the latter, Goal’s Nizaar Kinsella reports that Chelsea are “making progress” on Anjorin, and are hopeful of reaching an agreement with the 18-year-old highly ambitious youngster in the “coming weeks”.

“In five years time, I want to be a leader in the team, helping the younger academy kids to come through, where they can look up to me too and thrive as well,” said Tino after he made his Premier League debut in Chelsea’s last game for the time being.
