Ford EcoSport was basically the compact SUV that started the sub-4 meter segment. It now competes with cars like Maruti Brezza, Tata Nexon, Hyundai Venue, Mahindra XUV300 in the segment. Here we have a video that does a walkaround of the Ford EcoSport BS6 automatic version.

The video has been uploaded by Auto Trend TV on their youtube channel. The video starts by showing the exterior of the new BS6 version of the Ford EcoSport. The exterior styling or design of the BS6 version is as same as that of the BS4 version. Side profile of the car also looks similar as that of the BS4 version. It has alloy wheels, ORVMs with turn indicators mounted on them, roof rails and so on. The rear has the boot mounted spare wheel, EcoSport badging and the variant badging on the other side. The automatic transmission is only available in the Titanium plus trim of the EcoSport which means it gets all the features that higher manual trim of the EcoSport comes with.

On the inside, EcoSport gets a dual tone interior with black and beige colour scheme. It gets a touchscreen infotainment system, leather seats, an electric sunroof and other features including Ford’s Ford Pass connectivity feature. It allows the buyer to remotely start or stop the vehicle and locate the vehicle using a smartphone.
Coming to the engine, Ford EcoSport Automatic is only available with a petrol engine. EcoSport automatic gets a 1.5 litre naturally aspirated petrol engine that produces 122 Bhp or power and 149 Nm of torque. The automatic gearbox is a 6-speed torque converter unit. Compared to the BS4 version, BS6 EcoSport is only Rs 13,000 more expensive. EcoSport Titanium+ AT BS6 version is now priced at Rs 11.43 lkah, ex-showroom.
