Romantic drama Kahaan Hum Kahaan Tum starring Karan V Grover and Dipika Kakar Ibrahim in the lead roles is all set to go off-air next month. The show started with a lot of promise, portraying unique love story of a surgeon and an actress. But the makers have decided to pull the plug.
Lead actor Karan V Grover, who is seen in the role of Dr./surgeon Rohit Sippy exclusively told TimesofIndia.com, that they are at loss of words. Confirming the last date of the episode, Karan said, “Yes it is going off air on 14th March. We’re all at a loss of words. It is totally unexpected as we were steady on the charts from the beginning.”
The show went on-air last year on June 17. It featured Dipika Kakar as Sonakshi Rastogi. Kahaan Hum Kahaan Tum came as a breath of fresh air on Indian TV, breaking the stereotypical saas-bahu sagas.
But of late, the makers dragged it dramatically to a point of no return. The makers initially had promised to keep it as real as possible and garnered a lot of positive response and attention. But reality, soon succumbed to TRP pressure and it lead to a similar scenario like other daily soaps. Fans have been appealing to the makers to review their decision of plugging off the show.
